Andaz Turks & Caicos: What to Know Before Booking Hyatt's New Grace Bay Resort
The resort took about six years longer than planned, but you can now reserve stays from April 1, 2027, with points or cash.

Reservations are open
The Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay is accepting reservations for stays as of April 1, 2027. [1] If you collect World of Hyatt points or plan a Caribbean trip, this is the first Hyatt hotel in Turks & Caicos. [1]
Hyatt has scheduled the opening for April 1, 2027, according to Hyatt. [2] Earlier in 2026, Hyatt's booking system pointed to a June 1, 2027 debut. [2]
This piece covers what the resort offers, how long it took to arrive, and what it costs in points and cash.
Where it sits in the Andaz brand
The hotel is also the first Andaz property in the Caribbean. [1] It will be the only Andaz-branded resort in the Caribbean, following the closure of the former Andaz in Mayakoba last year. [2]
The Andaz is one of the only Andaz properties in the pipeline outside of Asia. [1]
The property and its dining
The property is a 5.5-acre resort offering four restaurants and bars, three outdoor pools, a spa, a kids club, a fitness center, and tennis and pickleball courts. [1] It is set in the Bight area of Providenciales, with direct access to Grace Bay. [2] The resort is close to the Bight Reef, which Hyatt lists at 0.2 miles from the property. [2]
The Andaz will have 59 hotel rooms and 73 branded residences. [1] Hyatt's current property information gives the same counts of 59 hotel rooms and 73 residences. [2]
Tamarà will be the all-day dining restaurant, an indoor-outdoor oceanfront concept blending global bistro classics with Caribbean influence. [1] Baie will be the poolside restaurant, bar, and lounge, set across two levels with a casual vibe. [1]
Runa Spa & Wellness will be around 7,000 square feet with five treatment rooms, a sauna, and a cold plunge. [1]
How the opening slipped
The Andaz was first announced in 2018 and was originally supposed to open in 2021. [2] The opening was delayed by about six years from that initial target. [1]
Construction took longer than expected, and the debut moved several times before construction formally launched in 2023. [2]
Points and cash rates
The hotel is a Category 8 World of Hyatt property, where a free standard-room night costs 35,000 to 75,000 points. [1] For most dates, the author currently sees point rates of 35,000, 45,000, or 55,000 points per night. [1]
Cash rates currently start at around $900 to $1,300 per night, inclusive of the service charge but exclusive of taxes. [1]
The hotel is primarily bookable between April and November 2027, which does not cover peak season. [1]
Other new hotels nearby
Salterra Turks & Caicos, a Marriott Luxury Collection property, opened in 2025. [1] The Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay opened earlier in 2026 on Providenciales. [2]
A Waldorf Astoria Turks & Caicos is planned for a 2028 opening on Dellis Cay, reachable by a 25-minute boat transfer from Providenciales. [1]
What it means for you
If you hold World of Hyatt points, the point rates of 35,000, 45,000, or 55,000 per night for most dates sit within the Category 8 range of 35,000 to 75,000 points. [1] If you plan to pay cash, the author recommends booking through the Hyatt Privé program, which offers room upgrades, complimentary breakfast, and a hotel credit. [1]
