Agoda in Meta's Muse: What the New Travel Connector Lets You Book

Agoda joins Muse on launch day

Agoda is the first travel platform regionally with an active Muse connector, and it is available to Muse users in Singapore and Japan. ^[1] If you use Meta's personal AI agent in either country, you can now reach Agoda from inside it. ^[1]

Agoda is Booking Holdings' Asia-focused online travel agency, and the company announced the move on Wednesday. ^[2] The announcement coincided with Muse's launch in Singapore. ^[2][1] This piece covers what the connector does, how to reach it and what Agoda and Meta said about it.

What the connector does

The connector lets Muse app users discover destinations, book hotels and manage itineraries directly with Agoda. ^[1] It links Agoda's own AI travel assistant to Muse. ^[2][1]

Like other AI agents, Muse can carry out tasks on a user's behalf. ^[2] You can reach the Agoda connector through the Muse app on iOS and Android and at muse.ai. ^[1]

What Agoda offers behind it

Agoda offers over 6 million holiday properties and more than 130,000 flight routes. ^[1] It also offers over 300,000 activities that can be easily combined in a single booking. ^[1]

What Agoda and Meta said

Matteo Frigerio, Agoda's Chief Product Officer, said Agoda is excited to be the first digital travel platform regionally to connect its AI travel assistant with Meta's Muse. ^[1] He said the connection gives travelers another convenient way to discover, plan and book their trips. ^[1]

Nicole Tan, Managing Director of Meta Singapore, said Muse is a personal agent built to help make everyday life easier. ^[1] She said Meta is connecting Muse to a travel brand people in Singapore already use and love. ^[1]

How Agoda follows Expedia

The Agoda move came a month after Expedia joined Muse's U.S. launch. ^[2] Meta has since identified Expedia as a hotel booking partner, alongside Duffel for flights. ^[2]
