[[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) It will be the only Andaz-branded resort in the Caribbean, following the closure of the former Andaz in Mayakoba last year. [[2]](https://www.caribjournal.com/2026/10/03/hyatt-is-opening-the-only-andaz-resort-in-the-caribbean-in-april-2027/) The Andaz is one of the only Andaz properties in the pipeline outside of Asia. [[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) ## The property and its dining The property is a 5.5-acre resort offering four restaurants and bars, three outdoor pools, a spa, a kids club, a fitness center, and tennis and pickleball courts. [[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) It is set in the Bight area of Providenciales, with direct access to Grace Bay. [[2]](https://www.caribjournal.com/2026/10/03/hyatt-is-opening-the-only-andaz-resort-in-the-caribbean-in-april-2027/) The resort is close to the Bight Reef, which Hyatt lists at 0.2 miles from the property. [[2]](https://www.caribjournal.com/2026/10/03/hyatt-is-opening-the-only-andaz-resort-in-the-caribbean-in-april-2027/) The Andaz will have 59 hotel rooms and 73 branded residences. [[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) Hyatt's current property information gives the same counts of 59 hotel rooms and 73 residences. [[2]](https://www.caribjournal.com/2026/10/03/hyatt-is-opening-the-only-andaz-resort-in-the-caribbean-in-april-2027/) Tamarà will be the all-day dining restaurant, an indoor-outdoor oceanfront concept blending global bistro classics with Caribbean influence. [[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) Baie will be the poolside restaurant, bar, and lounge, set across two levels with a casual vibe. [[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) Runa Spa & Wellness will be around 7,000 square feet with five treatment rooms, a sauna, and a cold plunge. [[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) ## How the opening slipped The Andaz was first announced in 2018 and was originally supposed to open in 2021. [[2]](https://www.caribjournal.com/2026/10/03/hyatt-is-opening-the-only-andaz-resort-in-the-caribbean-in-april-2027/) The opening was delayed by about six years from that initial target. [[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) Construction took longer than expected, and the debut moved several times before construction formally launched in 2023. [[2]](https://www.caribjournal.com/2026/10/03/hyatt-is-opening-the-only-andaz-resort-in-the-caribbean-in-april-2027/) ## Points and cash rates The hotel is a Category 8 World of Hyatt property, where a free standard-room night costs 35,000 to 75,000 points. [[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) For most dates, the author currently sees point rates of 35,000, 45,000, or 55,000 points per night. [[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) Cash rates currently start at around $900 to $1,300 per night, inclusive of the service charge but exclusive of taxes. [[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) ## Other new hotels nearby Salterra Turks & Caicos, a Marriott Luxury Collection property, opened in 2025. [[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) The Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay opened earlier in 2026 on Providenciales. [[2]](https://www.caribjournal.com/2026/10/03/hyatt-is-opening-the-only-andaz-resort-in-the-caribbean-in-april-2027/) A Waldorf Astoria Turks & Caicos is planned for a 2028 opening on Dellis Cay, reachable by a 25-minute boat transfer from Providenciales. [[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) ## What it means for you If you hold World of Hyatt points, the point rates of 35,000, 45,000, or 55,000 per night for most dates sit within the Category 8 range of 35,000 to 75,000 points. [[1]](https://onemileatatime.com/news/andaz-turks-caicos-grace-bay/) If you plan to pay cash, the author recommends booking through the Hyatt Privé program, which offers room upgrades, complimentary breakfast, and a hotel credit.
